HISD Elementary School Hours Summary

  • Standard Hours: 6:45 AM – 3:00 PM

  • First Bell: 7:25 AM

  • Tardy Bell: 7:35 AM

  • Dismissal: 3:00 PM

Important Reminders:

  • Earliest Drop-Off: Students may be dropped of as early as 6:45 AM.

  • Tardy Policy: Students arriving after 7:35 AM are considered tardy, and a parent or guardian must come into the building to sign them in.

  • Attendance Policy: Students who arrive after 9:30 AM will be counted absent for the day, per district guidelines.
